Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT Exam) is the gateway for admission into the Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) Programme. GPAT Exam 2022 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Educational Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is mandatory.
  • There are no minimum marks percentage required.

  • Lateral entry students must 4 years of graduation.

B. Tech or equivalent students are not eligible to apply for GPAT 2021 Exam.

GPAT Exam Applications Process

The GPAT Exam applications form candidates should fill to the first register and then enter their details related to academic, personal, qualifying examination details, etc. Thereafter scanned images of the photo and signature are uploaded.

There are some steps to fill the GPAT 2022 Exam application form:

Step 1 = Registration

Candidates first give their personal and contact details, choose a password and then submit them. A system-generated application number must be noted down.

This is used for the remaining details and steps in the GPAT exam application form. Application no. is also further used for future correspondence and subsequent login.

Step 2 = GPAT Exam Application Form Complete

After completing the registration candidates login with their application no. and password to fill in the remaining details.

Step 3 = Upload Scanned Images & Signature

Both of the images and signatures should be in JPG / JPEG format. The size of the images uploaded should be between 10 KB to 20 KB while that of the signature should be between 4 KB to 30 KB.

Step 4 = Pay the Examination Fees

Candidates must have to deposit the application fees online mode. Candidates can use Credit Card /Debit Card /Net Banking /Paytm /BHIM-UPI /Others. Below are the following amount for different categories.

Step 5 = Print Confirmation Page

After successful payment, Candidates can print the confirmation page. This is to be kept safe for future references.

GPAT Exam Marking Scheme

Candidates should know the marking system before appearing for the exam. Which will help the candidates to give the questions answer into the exam.

Other than after the release of the answer key, it will help the calculation of the probable marks.

  • Each question carries 4 Marks.
  • In total 125 questions carry (125×4 = 500) marks.
  • A negative Marking 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Unattempted questions or unanswered questions don’t attract any negative marks.
  • More than one answer to the one question will be considered wrong.

GPAT Exam Admit Card

The Admit Card for GPAT 2022 Exam is available at website, which is released by National Testing Agency (NTA). The Admit Card contains candidates details.

GPAT Exam Instructions

The National Testing Agency (NTA) publishes a particular guideline which is to be followed by the candidates on the exam day. Below are the GPAT 2021 Exam day guidelines in a nutshell.

i) The candidates should report to the examination centre before two hours of commencement of the examination to complete the frisking and registration formalities.

ii) Registration desk closes 60 minutes before the examination starts.

iii) The candidates show on demand the Admit Card for entry into the examination hall.

iv) If candidates fail to show the original Admit Card shouldn’t be allowed for the examination under any circumstances.

v) Those Candidates who don’t appear on the scheduled date of the exam for any reason, NTA shouldn’t be responsible for the conduct of the re-test.
