iii. Solubility tests.

iv. Functional group tests like Phenols, Amides or Urea, Carbohydrates, Amines, Carboxylic Acids, Alcohols, Esters, Aldehydes and Ketones, Aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons, Nitro compounds and Anilides.

v. Melting point or Boiling point of organic compounds.
